The legacy of civil-rights leader U.S. Representative John Lewis of “Good Trouble” continues after his passing on July 17 five years ago. Communities all over the country will be holding Good Trouble Lives events on this anniversary to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and to improve our communities and our country. Please join us on the front steps of United First Parish, 1306 Hancock Street, in Quincy Center at 5:30 p.m, Thursday, July 17 to be a part of our stand out event. We will begin by reading quotes and stories of Rep John Lewis and his legacy.. We will have some prepared readings but feel free to bring your own.

Bring signs related to this event. We also will have some prepared signs for you to use and materials to make your own signs on sight. When we finish with readings, we will invite people to stand along Hancock Street with your signs.
